Executive Support Team gives EXIT Heritage Realty Agents a leading edge in a competitive marketplace

The new Executive Support Team at EXIT Heritage Realty oversees the recruiting, start-up and training of new real estate agents, provides support and resources to existing agents, and further promotes the EXIT Heritage Realty brand to the local region.

With the recent influx of new real estate agents and a projected employment increase in 2017, EXIT Heritage Realty has created these positions to meet the demand and needs of a growing agency. The collective duties of the Executive Support Team will give all EXIT Heritage Agents a leading edge in a competitive marketplace.

Bryan Garcia, Principal Broker of Haymarket, has been selling real estate full time since March 2002 when he joined his mother Cheryl, who has been licensed since 1980. They opened Heritage Realty of Haymarket in September 2003 and in August 2006 they joined EXIT Realty, the fastest growing real estate company in North America, as franchise owners. They converted Heritage Realty of Haymarket into EXIT Heritage Realty, now one of the fastest growing real estate firms in the region.

As a long time resident of Haymarket and over fourteen years of real estate experience in the area, Bryan knows this area well. He lives in town with his wife and two children and enjoy the small town community lifestyle.

Melissa Vahdati of Gainesville, has been appointed Director of Training and Career Development. Melissa is an award-winning, full time Realtor with EXIT Heritage Realty. She is also a licensed Real Estate Instructor and teaches Virginia Real Estate Salesperson Licensing for Mosley Real Estate School.

Melissa earned her Real Estate license in 2008 and her Broker’s license in 2013. She has worked with, and learned from, some of the industry’s top agents in the country to enhance her understanding of the market and all aspects of real estate. Melissa will be developing an ongoing training schedule with EXIT Realty International’s core training systems, as well as customized training modules to keep EXIT’s agents up to date on the latest innovative real estate practices.

Victoria (Tory) Rodgers of Warrenton, Bryan Garcia’s Administrative Assistant since 2008, has been named Director of  Administration. She is a licensed Realtor® with an extensive background in real estate and title work and has a hand in just about everything that comes through the office. Tory will work closely with new agents to get them up and running – guiding them through the start-up process and into the next steps of training and business development. She will oversee new and existing agent requirements, expectations and affiliations.

Cathy Shalvey of Haymarket, has been named Director of Marketing and Office Promotions. She is a former Realtor® with a background in graphic design and communications. She has 30 years experience working as a communications specialist with an expertise in editorial design, corporate identity, advertising, fundraising, web and blogging.

Cathy has been working as Bryan Garcia’s Marketing Manager since 2014 and will now expand her responsibilities to include marketing the EXIT Heritage brand and creating agency promotional and support materials. Cathy is responsible for marketing agency news, properties and events through social media, press, email, and web blogs. She also manages the website and production of Haymarket Homeowner – a publication for upscale homeowners.

Dee Hoehn of Gainesville, named Director of Consumer and Agent Relations, has been maintaining the EXIT Heritage office homestead since 2003. Her familiar face has come to be recognized by many over the years. Dee answers phones, distributes mail, assists with faxing, scanning and copying agency media, processes transaction files and tends to the many details of an office that is continuously flowing with agents, clients and vendors.

The establishment of the Executive Support Team is part EXIT Heritage Realty’s renewed Vision and Goal which is to build a strong, systemized real estate brokerage that is grounded in a foundation of core values and principals – those that EXIT Realty International has based it’s success on. The five EXIT Realty International core principals: Training, Branding, Technology, Culture and the EXIT Formula, lay the foundation for the growth of EXIT Heritage Realty.
